H-F Viking Scholars: Whiz Kids

A few of H-F High School's graduating class of 2011 Viking Scholars take the spotlight as this week's "whiz kids."

Ten hard-working, high-achieving students from graduating class of 2011 were granted the honorary title of Viking Scholar for finishing their four years at the top of their class.

H-F Patch is proud to present a sample of these elite students to be honored as this week's well-deserving "whiz kids."

Ashley Armstrong: Notre Dame University

Kanoa Mulling: Princeton University

Sophia Schloen: University of California, Berkeley

What are your aspirations?


Ashley Armstrong: "I am not set on what I want to do later in life but I am interested in the fields of engineering, economics and business."

Kanoa Mulling: "I want to be a mathematics educator or a lawyer."

Sophia Schloen: "I would like to be either a lawyer or a history professor."

What's your best memory of H-F High School?


Ashley Armstrong: "My favorite memory is being a part of the H-F girl's golf team in 2009 when we won state by 41 shots."

Kanoa Mulling: "My best memory was performing in H-F's Group Interpretation play in 2010 called Ordinary People."

Sophia Schloen: "My best memories of H-F include Viking Orchestra, the girl's Water Polo team and my AP Euro class, among others."
