H-F High School Unveils New Building’s Atrium

The North Building renovation project is estimated to be completed by late spring of this year.

Many Homewood-Flossmoor High School students returned to a new building Monday morning.

The high school recently unveiled the atrium of their $25 million North Building renovation project, which began in winter of last year.

“Students are quickly adjusting to the new traffic pattern in and around the building,” reads a letter from the school.

You can take a look at photos from opening day on the H-F High School website.

While the atrium is now open, large portions of the new North Building remain unfinished. The estimated completion date is late spring of this year.

I think it will be really nice when all of the new classrooms are finally finished. The money that was spent on books and other learning materials will be well worth it when we see our students performance increasing. Way to go HF!

There's a lot on the web about the new luxury digs for the sports program. I couldn't find out, however, how many H-F students were named AP scholars last fall. Hmmmmm....
