New Homewood-Flossmoor Athletic Director Up for Board Approval Tuesday

Dan Vosnos is in line or the position, and the District 233 board will vote Tuesday night.

The athletic director of an Algonquin high school will likely be appointed the new head of Homewood-Flossmoor athletics during a District 233 meeting Tuesday night. 

Jacobs Athletic Director Dan Vosnos is listed on the agenda for board approval, a district spokesperson told The Northwest Herald Monday.

Vosnos said reporters he could not comment on the situation.

Vosnos, 35, began at Jacobs in 2011. He was previously the assistant athletic director at Evanston High School, where he also served as the extra-curricular academic support advisor and as an assistant varsity football coach.  He held all three positions for nine years. 

The Glenview native attended Glenbrook High School, going on to earn his bachelor's degree in 2000 from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he lettered in football all four years. He also holds master's degrees in school counseling from Northeastern University, and in administrative leadership from National Louis University.

If approved, he will begin his time with H-F on July 1.
