New Student Orientation Set for Prairie State College

Prairie State College will welcome new students with orientation sessions on two dates: July 17 and August 7. There will be two sessions on both days.

Summer is just about at its halfway point and schools in the area are prepping for the influx of students that will be entering their halls in the fall. Prairie State College is one of those schools and getting ready to welcome new students to the college with its New Student Orientation, coming up on July 17 and August 7.

Both days will feature two sessions for new students: one from 10 a.m. to noon, and the other from 5 to 7 p.m. The first session on each day will take place in the PSC Auditorium, while the second session each day will take place in the Conference Center, Heritage Community Bank Room.

Before attending the orientation students must complete the following three tasks:

  1. Complete an Admissions Application.

  2. Take the COMPASS test.
