School Supplies: What Churchill Students Will Need

In a few short weeks, local schools will open their doors and fill their seats with area children once again. Coincidentally, school supplies will be flying off the shelves amid bustling crowds and endless checkout lines. If you'd like to get a head start on some of the back-to-school commotion, Patch has compiled a list of the supplies kids will need for each area school.

Churchill School

Third Grade

• One box of crayons
• One package of markers
• 24 no. 2 pencils 
• One package colored pencils
• One large bottle glue
• Four glue sticks
• Three red pens
• One eraser 
• One package 3x5 index cards
• Two 1-subject spiral notebooks, wide ruled
• One package highlighters
• One pair of scissors
• Three boxes of tissues 
• One backpack
• Six pocket folders (5 classroom/1 music)
• Two containers disinfectant wipes
• One package 3x3  Post-It notes
• One package dry erase markers (low odor or odorless) with eraser
• One dry marker eraser
• One pair gym shoes with non-marking soles (to be left at school)
• One roll paper towels
• One ruler 
• One box Ziploc baggies (gallon size) 
• One box Ziploc baggies (quart size) BOYS ONLY
• One set computer headphones GIRLS ONLY

Fourth Grade

• One box crayons or colored pencils (24 count)
• One package of broad tip markers
• One package of fine tip markers
• 48 no. 2 pencils
• Four glue sticks
• One 12” ruler with centimeters
• Two red pens
• One eraser 
• Five 1-subject spiral notebooks
• Two pairs of scissors
• Three large boxes of tissues 
• One package of highlighters
• One pencil sharpener with shavings case attached
• One pair of gym shoes with nonmarking soles (to be left at school)
• Six pocket folders (5 classroom/1 music)
• One prong folder
• One backpack 
• One art sketchbook (spiral, at least 50 pgs., 8½x11 or 9x12)
• One large container disinfectant wipes
• Two packages 3x3 Post-It notes
• One package dry erase markers (low odor or odorless) with eraser
• One box Ziploc baggies (gallon size) 
• One box Ziploc baggies (quart size) BOYS ONLY
• One set computer headphones GIRLS ONLY
