School Supplies: What James Hart Students Will Need

In a few short weeks, local schools will open their doors and fill their seats with area children once again. Coincidentally, school supplies will be flying off the shelves amid bustling crowds and endless checkout lines. If you'd like to get a head start on some of the back-to-school commotion, Patch has compiled a list of the supplies kids will need for each area school.

Seventh Grade

• One calculator TI 30xIIS (or higher) NOTE: Those students enrolled in high school algebra or high school geometry need a ti83+ graphing calculator
• Three 2 inch binders
• One set of 5 tab dividers
• One thumb drive
• One set of headphones
• Three packages of notebook paper 
• Four 2 pocket folders
• Four spiral notebooks
• One package of pencils 
• One package of 24 colored pencils 
• 24 black or blue pens
• Three red pens
• One set of markers
• One yellow highlighter
• One set of dry erase markers
• One dry eraser
• One 1/16” plastic ruler – 12” standard and metric
• One 9x12 sketchbook
• One 3 ring pencil case that can go inside a binder
• One package of Post-it notes
• One package of note cards
• One box of Kleenex
• One bottle of pump hand soap

Eighth Grade

• One calculator TI 30xIIS (or higher) NOTE: Those students enrolled in high school algebra or high school geometry need a ti83+ graphing calculator.
• Three 1 ½ inch binder any color
• Three sets 5 tab dividers
• One 1 inch binder (French students only)
• One thumb drive
• One set headphones
• Three packages of notebook paper
• One package of graph paper, ¼ inch grid
• Five folders
• Four spiral notebooks
• 24  pencils
• 24 black pens
• Two red pens
• One set of markers
• One yellow highlighter
• One 1/16” plastic ruler – 12” standard and metric
• One 9x12 Sketchbook
• One pencil case
• One package of Post-it notes
• One package of note cards
• One box of Kleenex

Physical Education

• Gym shoes
• Roll-on deodorant
• Gym uniform (can be purchased at )
