Updates to the building have been more than a year in the works. Renovations include a refurbished student cafeteria and gymnasium. The building's main entrance was rebuilt as a two-story atrium, and extra space was tacked onto the fieldhouse. Administrators boast several environmentally friendly features of the work — including high-efficiency lighting, daylight harvesting, specially designed mechanical systems and occupancy sensors.
