When and how did your business get started?

The previous owner call me and asked me if I would like to buy the business. It was a Hallmark Shop when I purchased it. We remodeled it in 1996 and changed the name to the Villager, which was the original name many years ago.
What is your business best known for?

We are know for our unique jewlery, fine gifts, baby items and home decor. Our most popular items are women accessories.
Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?
I have lived in Flossmoor for 38 years and that where the business was and it was a great opportunity.
What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
It has been known as a card shop but upon entering there is so much more. I take a great deal of time finding unique and one of a kind items, and that is what makes us special.
