Athlete of the Week: Williams Gets H-F Football Off to Soaring Start
Senior quarterback leads the Vikings to a 76-6 throttling of Chicago Senn.
On the first offensive play of the year for Homewood-Flossmoor's football team, quarterback Tim Williams threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to tight end Willie Ross on Friday night.
The touchdown was one of many in
Williams tossed just four passes on the night and saw limited action in the second half of the blowout. But he made the most of his time on the field, going 4-for-4 and passing for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

"I knew we were going to go long on the first play on offense," Williams said. "It was good to be back on the field I have been waiting to play for a long time."
For his contributions in the Vikings’ season-opening romp, Williams is recognized as the H-F Patch Athlete of the Week.
