Boys Basketball: Homewood-Flossmoor Falls Short against Crete-Monee
Crete-Monee 53, Homewood-Flossmoor 37. The Vikings were stuck playing catch-up ball from beginning to end against the Warriors in Wednesday's Class 4A Thornwood Sectional semifinal.
The Hot Read: Homewood-Flossmoor fell behind 5-0 at the start and never recovered in a 53-37 boys basketball loss to Crete-Monee in the Class 4A Thornwood Sectional on Wednesday night. The Vikings trailed 8-6 midway through the opening quarter but would never get any closer, falling behind by double digits for the first time with 5:32 left in the second quarter.
