The exhibit features the work of SXU students in Advanced Photography from 1981 to 2009. The photos represent the major themes taught by Prof. Monte Gerlach during the course, including portraiture, fashion, still life and conceptual images. Students worked individually and in teams with studio lighting, 4x5 film cameras and digital SLR cameras to create these striking photos. The prints in the show were selected from more than 1,000 images and many of the students featured are now working as photographers and art teachers.
