H-F Girls Kick it into High Gear

Homewood-Flossmoor girls soccer player Kelly Lewers scored four goals against Bradley-Bourbonnais and four more goals against Thornwood as the Vikings cruised to victories in both matches and pushed their record to 6-0.
Softball Split, Surge
H-F's softball team split a doubleheader against Tinley Park and blasted Thornwood 19-2 early this week to improve to 6-2.
Marco? Polo!
The H-F boys’ water polo team continues to roll. The Vikings defeated Mundelein 12-9 and defeated Andrew 15-5 to improve to 11-2-2 on the season. Against the T-Bolts, Kevin Kuchta and Luke Dobben each had five goals.

Likewise, the H-F girls water polo team is dominating in the pool. The Vikings destroyed Stagg 19-4 to improve to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play. Against the Chargers, Rebecca Mathews had four goals and Hannah Ongman and Michelle Mayer each had three goals.
Mixed Bag
The H-F boys tennis team had mixed results on the week, beating Andrew 7-0 and Lincoln-Way West 6-1 but losing to Lyons Township 6-1. Vikings No.1 singles player Brad Holt notched the lone win for H-F against the Lions.
