On His Game: H-F's Brandon Blaszczyk Ready to Lace Up His Hockey Skates

Brandon Blaszczyk, a sophomore, talks to about this year's Homewood-Flossmoor team and how he started playing hockey in a five-question video interview.

For sophomore Brandon Blaszczyk, hockey is something he loves to play. Even more than that though, he loves attending H-F and loves playing for easy-going coach Bob Boldt.

Blaszczyk, a sophomore right winger for the Vikings, said this year's H-F team is looking pretty good in early-season practice, especially the goalkeepers. He added that with the improvements in the net and across the ice, the Vikings look poised to win their fair share of games.

As for Blaszczyk, he said he's been working hard at getting quicker on the ice and is hopeful he can help his team light the lamps and notch some wins.
