IJP School Free Play Group Kicks off the Christmas Holiday with Fun, Educational Games

The sound of children filled the hall of Hall on Thursday, December 1, 2011. The children were 1, 2, 3 and 4 years-old. They were accompanied by guardians who were interested in early learning opportunities for the young ones. The play-based Free Play Group was themed, “A Merry Christmas.”

sponsored the activity as a service to the community for parents of 1, 2, 3 and 4 year-olds. It was established for the first Thursday of every month for the 2011-2012 school year. Parents and Assistant Principal, Mr. Steve Chorak guided children through the Christmas-themed activities for December. Families artistically decorated angels and bells. They tossed garland for the “Jingle Bell Garland Toss.” The spirit of the season was captured with a sing-along version of “Jingle Bells.”

“Winter Wonderland” is scheduled to provide seasonal activities and refreshments for families on January 5, 2012.
