IJP School Hosts Annual Geography Bee

The states of Arizona, Wisconsin and Vermont were near one another. During the Geography Bee at Infant Jesus of Prague School, students were questioned about the various areas. The Bee took place on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the school gym. IJP Principal, Mr. Dan Smith questioned students with authority and care. Geography Bee organizer and Jr. High Social Studies teacher, Ms. Donna Rosenberger approved answers while students put forth a mighty effort.

2012 Geography Bee champion, Robert Venegas navigated difficult questions about various areas of the world. He and 2nd and 3rd place finishers, respectively, Alex Balousek and Devin Sonnek outlasted other opponents. Many of the questions gave clues which allowed the qualifiers opportunities for reasoning and rationalization of geographical areas.
