Infant Jesus of Prague Pastor, Fr. Mike Nacius, Promotes Peace at All School Mass

What do we get when we “Turn peace upside down?” asked Infant Jesus of Prague Parish pastor, Fr. Mike Nacius. Fr. Nacius told students that when we turn the peace symbol upside down, we can see a Cross of Christ, with his arms reaching out to all people. Fr. Mike used the iconic image to illustrate his point. The message was delivered at an All School Mass for Infant Jesus of Prague School on Wednesday, October 17, 2012.

The school community gathered to celebrate their faith.  Students proclaimed the Scripture, prayed together and sang the words of various hymns, one of which being, “Make Me a Channel of Your Peace.” The message of peace was evident when the 6th grade students of the school presented a large poster, which featured various synonyms and symbols for peace.
