Infant Jesus of Prague School recognizes Fire Prevention Week with Assembly

“Students need to be aware of fire prevention techniques,” said Infant Jesus of Prague School counselor, Felicia Russell on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 during Fire Prevention Week.

The counselor organized an educational assembly for the student body. Fire Prevention Week takes place from October 7 through October 13. IJP teamed with the Flossmoor Fire Department for the event.

Flossmoor fireman, Ethan Stratman presented a large portion of the information to students. The talk featured fire safety tips, a question and answer period and even a student example of the “stop-drop & roll” technique for effect.
