Infant Jesus of Prague School Teachers Train To Teach Inquiry-Based Lessons

There are many ways in which children learn. Inquiry-based instruction is a way in which students learn through exploration and problem-solving. Teachers at Infant Jesus of Prague School participated in a training on Friday, October 26, 2012. St. Xavier University STEM Center instructors, Sr. Jeanne Marie Toriskie, Ph.D. and Suzanne Snaidauf, M.S. guided the award-winning staff in innovative teaching methods.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Teachers took time and explored the concepts of inquiry-based learning by building models, designing presentations and recording data. The school strives to prepare students for a competitive work-force with the best possible education in the 21st century.
