“We are supported by the Homewood Rotary Club and follow the ‘Four Way Test,’” said Karen Gnatt, sponsor of the club. “We work on raising money or offering our time for... service projects that benefit our school, community and (the) world.”

Three hundred carnations were sold by the Early Act Club to raise the $150 that they donated.

Smith says that the donated money will go to helping free programs that the Cancer Support Center offers, such as their nutritional classes or services like their "Wig Program" for patients who have lost their hair.
