Last Chance for Christmas Tree Recycling: "Help our environment by keeping valuable nutrients out of landfill.  Trees accepted through Friday, January 10th. Trees are chipped and used on the trails of Irons Oaks."

Live Entertainment at Twisted Q BBQ: Folk artists Small Potatoes will be playing live at Homewood's biggest barbecue joint on Friday night. Admission is $10.

Flossmoor Library Knitting Sit-In: “Experience the expertise of Dolores Janowiak. Teaching materials available to get started! Bring your yarn and needles! Make this a fun morning out!”

Hansel and Gretel at South Suburban College: “The Children’s Theatre Company of South Suburban College is back with an exciting, delightfully amusing variation of the Grimm classic, Hansel and Gretel, by Michele L. Vacca.”
