Menu misleading.
My son ordered a large slaw and asked the cashier to show the sizes and she showed him 3 cups. Since the menu stated that the large cup was $1.27 he ordered the large. His bill was $2.00 more than he figured. He looked at the bill and saw that the large was not $1.27 and the cashier stated that it was "a different large". He was out of town and said that he would not go there again. Please show the cup sizes on the menu to keep irrate customers from going there. The restaurent is at 53rd & woodland avenue-Chicago, Il.

I visited the location at 4142 W 167th St. in Oak Forest. The counter service was friendly and helpful but soon after I placed my order both young ladies went to the back (behind a partion). Moments later there was loud talking "B" words "MF" words and the "N" word was being shouted so loudly that the other customer and I were unsure of our safety. At first we could not tell if it was horseplay but we quickly realized this was a serious matter. I should have walked out be I could not afford to leave my 8.35 behind and go pay someone else for more food. I wanted to say something but I feared retaliation (sp?). Yes this all sounds very dramatic as I type it however it happened. Very unprofessional, Very upsetting, Very uncool. You have got to do better. This is not the end I will place a phone call as well, the employees involved must be repremanded for their own professional growth THIS MATTER MUST BE ATTENDED TO.
How do you contact their corporate office? Do they have a different number than the one listed online? (708) 922-2550
I have been trying to contact them for over a year...left numerous messages...never got a call back...smh...
The people at the corporate office are great. I cant always say that about the people in the store.
I went to a Harold's on 79th street close to Pulaski. The service at harold's has become a nuisance. I've never seen such angry people and bad customer service, even at the corporate office. Also, when did they start serving undone chicken. You people are going to pay for what you're doing to consumers patronizing your business. I can go on all day talking about how badly I was treated as a customer, however, you people need to get it together. Yall really suck now.
I WAS AT THE LOCATION 127TH HALSTED ON 4/28/2011 . I CALLED IN AT 7:30PM , AT 8PM I WENT TO PICK UP MY ORDER, AT 8:15 MY ORDER WAS NOT READY. I ASKED THE CAHIER HOW LONG FOR THE CALL IN , DUE TO HAVING TO GO TO WORK. SHE SAID WITH AN ATTITUDE , THAT " I WAS LATE" HUH!???? HOW CAN I BE LATE FOR A CALL IN. THIS CAHIER PROCEEDED TO CALL ME A "HUNGRY HOE" IN FRONT OF 8 OTHER CUSTOMERS. THIS IS THE WORST LOCATION. I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD A EMPLOYEE SAY THAT TO A CUSTOMER. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT A MANAGER FOR THIS STORE . THERE IS NO WAY TO GET A NAME OF A MANAGER. I WAS SOOO UPSET I WAS SHAKING. IM A PARAMEDIC HERE IN CHICAGO , AND DID NOT! DESERVE THIS TREATMENT. IS THERE IS ANYONE IN CORPORATE THAT CAN HELP ????

Tonight, we went to the new location of Harold's Chicken Shack at 505 N. Dixie Highway in Momence, IL. We have been to other locations and this is now our favorite. The staff was very friendly and kept us accurately posted on how much longer before our chicken would be ready. It's so great that your chicken is cooked after it is ordered and not precooked, sitting under a heat lamp. Their prices are very reasonable for the large amount of food you get. We will definitely be going back to the Momence location. Sadly, when they opened one in Kankakee, it ended up closing. However, business was quite steady with most of the tables full and quite a few carry-out orders were filled. Keep up the good work and the best chicken around!
