The Army Reserve's mission, under Title 10 of the U.S. Code, is to "provide trained, equipped, and ready soldiers and cohesive units to meet the global requirements across the full spectrum of operations." The Army Reserve trains with Active and National Guard units to ensure all three can work as a fully integrated team. Homewood U.S. Army Reserve works to provide a flexible, well-trained, complementary force that can meet the specific needs and challenges of any and all missions. Homewood U.S. Army Reserve is also home to the local Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
