The 26-year-old struck a tree at the intersection of Willow Rd and Page Ave sometime early Saturday morning.
Shards of glass and plastic litter the ground in front of Willow School where 26-year-old Keith Clark crashed his car into a tree sometime early Saturday morning. The Glenwood man was pronounced dead at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest at 3:24 p.m. on Dec. 15, according to a report from the Sun-Times Media. Homewood officials have yet to comment on the accident. While the details of the crash are still relatively unknown, one of our Facebook friends reported seeing the wreckage shortly after 2 a.m. Damaged turf, a skinned tree and a small memorial remain at the scene. We will post more information as it becomes available.

A collision between a bus full of H-F High School students and a car could have been much worse as Homewood firefighters say none were hurt in the accident.
A school bus carrying Homewood-Flossmoor High School passengers collided with a car at the intersection of Governors Highway and Cherry Creek Drive around 8 a.m. this morning. None were injured in the crash, according to Homewood Fire Lieutenant Bill Wright. Homewood police have yet to provide comment on who was at fault during the accident. We will update this story when more information becomes available.

Three Cook County Highway Department workers were sent to the hospital due to the negligent driving, according to a press release from Cook County.
A distracted driver sent three Cook County Highway Department workers to the hospital Tuesday after plowing his car into the back of their truck in south suburban Hazel Crest, according to a county press release. The crewmen were filling potholes along Kedzie Avenue at 10:30 a.m. when their dump truck was rear-ended as they were about to exit the vehicle. They were taken by ambulance to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, where they were treated and released. A 47-year-old Flossmoor man was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to police. An auto collision at the intersection of Governors and Heather yesterday resulted in no injuries, according to the Homewood Fire Department.
Neither of the parties involved in an auto accident near the intersection of Governors Highway and Heather Road yesterday were transported to the hospital, according to Bill Wright of the Homewood Fire Department. Wright said the collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. yesterday when a driver pulling out of Heather Road onto Governors Highway cut off another driver traveling on Governors Highway. According to Wright, the accident looked much worse than it really was, rendering both vehicles close to, if not completely totaled.

According to the Homewood Police Department, Jane Strother was charged with failure to yield right of way after she was involved in a three-car collision at the intersection of 183rd and Kedzie on March 11.
According to the Homewood Police Department, Jane Strother, 67, of the 3200 block of Mallard in Homewood was charged with failure to yield right of way. The charge comes in response to the three-car collision Strother was involved in on March 11 at the intersection of 183rd Street and Kedzie Avenue. Strother was exiting from a 7-Eleven parking lot at approximately 1:30 p.m., heading westbound on 183rd St. when she clipped the vehicle of Homewood-resident Michael Wicks, 43, as he was heading westbound on 183rd St., according to police.
