Notice of a Grant Award: A $200,000 grant for central business street lights was awarded to the village on March 1 from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities. The project, which has been deferred for the last five years due to budget constraints, will be used to erect new energy efficient lighting fixtures and repair fixtures with wiring and/or structural issues.
