TUESDAY, JAN. 17 Anthony Aurelio, 31, of the 700 block of Coales Road in Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped Aurelio’s car near Maple Road and Dixie Highway around 2:30 a.m. for driving without a rear plate light and saw a bag in the backseat resembling a gun case. According to the report, Aurelio gave officers permission to search the bag, which only contained tools, though they found a glass pipe on the floor. Aurelio denied ownership of the pipe to police, saying it likely belonged to someone who had recently sat in the backseat.
