ReplyThey also have a Wish List on Amazon that includes their much-needed supplies. Just search South Suburban Humane Society on the Wish List finder. It's very easy if you have an account and don't have time to make the delivery yourself.

ReplyI love the place and visit once every other week. Would go more if I could becuase the turkey tacos are so great. Something different that I can't get elsewhere. Family also enjoys the turkey burgers and turkey polish. If you're looking for a deal, check out DealsMagazine.com. There's a 25 % off right now (pay $15 for $20 worth of food) -- I really recommend you give them a try!

ReplyI understand the doubt re: Whole Foods, but why Costco? Never thought of Costco as being uppity or too specialized? And way to support your neighborhood folks. If you don't try, you don't get anything. And a used bookstore would be welcome. In fact, anything would be better than a dilapidated hotel.

ReplyJust had a few of these mini tacos last night and they were delicious! So filling, and not so "mini". Incredible bargain at only 99 cents.

I'm ok with grass as long as it is maintained. Don't think uncut grass and weeds would welcome visitors anymore than the current situation.

Have had baggers ask in recent visits but they definitely did not force the issue when I said no thank you. This seems exaggerated. And I agree with other posters above, there are other reasons not to shop at Jewel, mainly cost. I also love the new Marianos in Frankfort. But clearly I need to try Bizios, too, from what other comments say.
