Culver's Joins Cancer Support Center Walk of Hope

Culver's of Homewood, 850 183rd St., joined the festivities Sunday, October 6, to show its support for the Walk of Hope.

Cancer Support Center's annual walk, now in its 22nd year, raises money for programs provided at no charge for individuals and families affected by cancer.

Culver's of Homewood owner Jack Rush scooped dishes of custard for the 1,100 participants who gathered at Irwin Park Sunday to help the cause. This marks the seventh year Rush has volunteered for the event, and he plans to continue to do so for many years to come.
