Homewood Pedestrian Death Ruled a Suicide
A 60-year-old man was killed after a Metra train struck him shortly after noon in the 2300 block of Ridge Road in Homewood.

The death of a 60-year-old Homewood man has been ruled a suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Wayne Wilson, of the 1800 block of Olive Road, was killed after he was stuck by a Metra train on Tuesday, according to officials.
A Metra spokesman said Wilson was by himself at about 12:15 p.m. near the tracks in the 2300 block of Ridge Road.

A 60-year-old Homewood man died Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a Metra train near the Homewood station, Sun-Times Media reports.
Train no. 122 struck Wayne Wilson, of the 1800 block of Olive Road, around 12:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Ridge Road, according to a Metra spokesperson and Sun-Times Media reports.
