The
purpose of a critique is to encourage artists to engage in constructive
discussion of their work with other artists, art lovers or art
reviewers. An informal atmosphere will provide a friendly environment
for the exchange of ideas. The discussion is generally led by a
facilitator. Artists and their work will be the center of the
discussions. Please remember to allow two hours of time if you wish to
participate. Leaving after your critique time should be avoided as well
as unnecessary conversation.

In
order for the critique to be a positive and affirming experience it is
vital for members of the audience to be attentive and respectful.
Critique etiquette is much like going to the theater, a lecture or
debate.  Be polite, enjoy the exchange.
