Snap up those chinstraps, football season is just around right end (corner for you non-football fans) and the IHSA recently released the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings season schedule for the 2013-14 season. The Vikings, who play in the Southwest Suburban (Blue) Conference, went 7-3 last year, qualifying for the IHSA playoffs.

The Vikings fell in the first round of the IHSA 8A playoffs to O’Fallon High School, 37-25.

This year, the Vikings get their season started with two non-conference matchups, first against Simeon at home, before heading to Stevenson High School in week two of the season.
