Free Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Screenings: "It's prostate cancer awareness month and Advocate South Suburban Hospital is hosting a free prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening for men."

Knitting Sit-In: Exactly what it sounds like. Held at the Flossmoor Public Library. For all ages and skill levels.
"The Machine" National Juried Exhibit Opening Reception: A dynamic and industrious exhibit featuring 34 talented artists from 15 different states exhibiting 46 pieces of artwork that have everything and anything to do with machines.
Saturday
Fall Fishing Derby: "Try your luck at catching the biggest fish in your age group. Be sure to register the anglers by 10:30 a.m. that day as all participants receive a raffle ticket."
Flossmoor Fall Family Campout: "Camping in town? Yes! This year marks the 7th year of camping in Flossmoor Park. The campout is complete with a cookout, campfire, family games and movies. Bring a tent, sleeping bags, snacks and a flashlight. Don’t have a tent? Rent one from us!"
